Heberth Campos is a computer and systems engineer, with a master's degree in business administration. He has extensive experience in IT related projects, leading projects in Central America and North America, delivering services for clients within the Fortune 500 list.
He is a university professor teaching project management related courses in undergraduate and post-graduate programs in one of the top 20 most avant-garde business schools in Latin America (Forbes 2016).
He has participated as a speaker in university congresses and events in different chapters of PMI. Since 2013 he participates as a volunteer in the PMI Chapter of Guatemala, where he is currently vice president.
Also, he is PMP, PMI-RMP, PMI-SP, Scrum Master, Scrum Master Certified, Scrum Developer Certified, Scrum Product Owner Certified, LSS Green belt, ITILFv3, MCP and MCD. He is part of the PMI LIMC 2019.
10 tips to improve risk management in your projects
Due to the short time to release new services or products the project manager focuses on the delivery of work packages, following a project calendar, having weekly meetings with clients, daily meetings with the project team, trying to resolve issues and making sure that the budget is under control. With all these activities, and others, we forget to include risk management activities that prevents further issues.
