3^rd Annual PMINAC Open House Update

The Chapter held its 3rd Annual Open House on February 21, 2018 at the NAIT Campus. The event was well received by members, non-members, guests and sponsors alike with an overall event rating of 4.5/5. While the panelist kept the audience engaged, the exihibits from 15 local businessess endeavored to provide the necessary support to our members and guests. The panel discussion titled " Enhance Your Career Branding in Today's Job Market" was well facilitated by Hemant Kumar. The panelist focus was to give al all-round perspective on the recruitment process and the do's and don'ts of career branding. They included;

• James Wright - Manager Project Management Group, Ministry of Service Alberta
• Sam Sherif - Executive Resume Writer, Edmonton Resume Services
• Tara Dragon - Founder, Work Evolution

Our Champion Sponsors NAIT and Performance Excellence Institute had the opportunity to present their programs and educate the audience.

The 15 local businesses primarily constituted of recruiters, resume experts, career guidance, education providers, trainers and consultants. We also engaged students volunteers, who were thrilled at the experience and exposure they received.

 This event would not have been a success without the tireless and dedicated efforts of volunteers. We say " Good things happen when you join PMINAC" and the Open House was just one example of that!
