Brian Aucoin, B.Ed., PMP  director_communityofpractice@pminac.com

Facilitator: Ian Kirby

Ian received his PMP designation in 2016 while working in the Oil & Gas industry with Suncor Energy for over six years before resigning in 2016 to pursue post-secondary education. Currently, he is in his final year of finishing a Bachelor of Commerce degree at MacEwan University with a major in accounting. Though he has left the workforce, Ian continues to be heavily involved in the project management community. While in his first year at university, he founded a student club that helps students become proficient in project management through project stewardship, professional development, and networking opportunities in the community. Through Ian’s leadership as its President, the club has seven students writing the CAPM exam this year and is already supporting a local business with a 4-month marketing project.
