Our discussion will be about estimating. Estimating is the discipline of evaluating costs intrinsic to project/task realization. According to the stages of a project, different types of estimates are done by project stakeholders. During this session we will discuss the different types of estimating and the elements associated with each. This will help to give you the fundamentals about “How do you do estimating?”
Facilitator: Sebastien Emin
Sebastien Emin is a professional in construction and city planning and has worked on approximately 150 projects at various stages of development. He has performed his skills in various disciplines, including: estimating, drafting, project management, health and safety. He has worked for organizations including project ownership (public sector), quantity surveyor office and urban consultant office (project management) and as a contractor.
